This car was first delivered to Ms. Sabie Rotolo in Van Nuys, California, September 1935. Upon her death believed to be in the mid 1950's, the car was in outdoor storage at her son's business located in the watts area of Los Angeles. During the riots in 1965, the car suffered a bullet puncture in the upper rear body between the rear window and trunk lid. In 1971, the car was purchased by Ruben Martinez. He kept the car for six weeks before selling it to the current owner.
