A Note From the Seller:
Founded in Detroit, MI in 1914, the Saxon Motor Company produced and sold vehicles through the 1923 model year before financial issues forced its demise. Initially the Saxon was a lightweight, two-seater roadster powered by a four-cylinder Continental engine, with a sedan and six-cylinder motors available in later years. In the company's inaugural year, a Saxon car traversed the distance between New York and San Francisco in a span of 30 days which was quite a feat for the time! In only three years total production of all Saxon models reached 28,000 units, making the company the seventh largest car manufacturer in the United States.

This 1917 offered here is an excellent example of an older restoration that has spent years in humidity-controlled storage, presenting well mechanically and in appearance with modest flaws. Appointed in two-tone grey and green livery with matching green interior, this model features a three-speed manual gearbox. Wood spoke wheels matching the green body color are wrapped with whitewall tires.
